Genevieve accesses the past and present, assisting those wishing to reach a balanced state of being by tuning in to the emotional, physiological and spiritual parts of the inner self. In a partnership with the client, Genevieve will assist the body to remove any blockages that are interfering with ones energetic wholeness and health.
Some of these issues include, physical trauma and distress, emotional patterns, including but not limited to stress, fear, anger, depression and overall dis-ease.
Genevieve will listen to the body, locate specific imbalances, and find the root cause of ones discomfort and concern. She will then assist the body in clearing energy that may be interfering with ones desire to achieve optimum health and well being.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Guelph, Ontario providing individual, family and couples counselling. After working as an educator for almost 15 years, I completed a Master’s of Counselling degree at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. I moved from Calgary, Alberta to Guelph, Ontario with my husband and two children and pursued my dream of running a private practice.
Using a person-centered approach to counselling, I draw on the techniques of narrative therapy, internal family systems, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. As a certified yoga instructor, I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and integrate elements of mindfulness and breath work in my work with clients as appropriate.
